It’s with a very heavy heart that we bid farewell to Hawaiian family man and big wave surfer Sion Milosky. After a wipeout and a two wave hold down at Mavericks, Sion passed away. Words can’t begin to describe how saddened we are by this loss. Sion’s first passion was his wife and kids and surfing giant waves was his second. Never before had we seen such an amazing surge of coverage from any surfer in a period of less than two years. If Sion set out to do something he would do it, no questions asked. His spirit of Aloha was unmatched and whenever you were around him you couldn’t help but feel good in his presence. Our sincere condolences go out to Sion’s family and friends. Volcom has set up a donation fund for Sion’s family below, click on the button to donate, all of the money collected will be given to the Milosky family.

EL PRIMER BAÑO DEL AÑO
Devido a la noche de FIN de AÑO la gente se quedó en casa durmiendo, pero los que madrugamos pillamos unas buenas olas en La Lanzada. Salian picos potentes y perfectos, incluso se vio algun tubo.
DÍA DE OLAS GRANDES EN LA LANZADA
Albino, Martin y yo nos bajamos algunas bombitas en la izquierda del pajaro para empezar el año con fuerza. EL viento estaba perfecto, la direccion de mar tambien y el agua muy fria pero aun asi aguantamos como señores un par de horitas. Cuando subio la marea se quedo la ola pero en la lanzada salian picos fuertes. FUE UN DIA PERFECTO.
